Hearing aid maintenance
Did you know that having your hearing aids maintained by an audioprosthetist is strongly recommended to keep them working well?
Your audioprosthetist, with a specialized educator if needed, will meet with you twice per year to check your hearing aids and give them a full cleaning. During this meeting, they may change some parts to maximize your listening experience.
Are your hearing aids still working for you?
These appointments let your audioprosthetist make sure that your hearing aids are still meeting your needs.
If they notice that your hearing has changed, they may suggest that you consult an audiologist for a new hearing assessment. If your hearing has changed, your audioprosthetist will see you again to readjust your hearing aids.

Don't forget!
An assessment by an audioprosthetist is required to determine which hearing aid suits the patient's needs.
