Next generation hearing aids

November 9, 2016

New iPhone-compatible hearing aids will help you stay connected to your friends and family and enjoy your favourite activities! They connect easily to your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Apple Watch via Bluetooth and the easy-to-use TruLink app.

TruLink enhances your listening experience and allows you to adjust the volume and change the program on your hearing aids using your Apple device.

Adapt to your environment

The SoundSpace section of the app lets you adapt the output of your hearing devices to a specific environment, based on your preferences. Simply move your finger around the screen to adjust the sound in real time. You can also save your settings as a memory and use them when you need them. You can create up to 20 memories using SoundSpace. You can also geotag memories using your Apple product’s integrated GPS. A geotagged memory will save your location and activate automatically when you return to it. For example, the memory you named “restaurant” will activate when you walk into your favourite restaurant.

Answer the phone

Answer calls simply by tapping the screen of your smart phone and you’ll hear the caller’s voice directly in your hearing aids via Bluetooth. Directly transmitting calls on your iPhone to your hearing aids lets you enjoy truly hands-free conversations with high quality sound, whenever and wherever you want.

Adapt to a situation

The external microphone lets you put your phone near the person you would like to hear and turn it on so their words are directly transmitted to your hearing aids. You can also record on the Apple device and send audio files by email or listen to them later with the “Remote Microphone” function. To do so, simply push the power button while holding down the red button to save the file. Once the file has been saved, follow the on-screen instructions to share it.

And with TruLink’s adaptive car mode, your hearing aids will automatically adjust using a program designed to reduce road noise and enhance your listening experience when driving.

Listen to music

Musical tastes are personal, but the power of music is universal. Thanks to the powerful capabilities of these hearing devices, you can enjoy your favourite music in a new way with settings that focus on listening pleasure, desired sound levels, and sound quality. These settings can make quiet notes or melodies audible and can be activated on demand or automatically.
