The founding principles of Lobe University

July 31, 2013

Lobe University was founded in order to create, teach and share the latest trends in the field of hearing health and communication, to promote frameworks for research and reflection as a way of finding creative solutions that support patients’ well-being. Basically, it is a platform for the continuous improvement of multidisciplinary practices.

Coat of arms

Given that Lobe University is a unique learning environment, a coat of arms was developed to inspire a sense of belonging and pride.

Three human figures form the central element of the coat of arms, emphasizing a human touch. The symbols reflect the individuality of each person, but also the power a team can have, especially when it embraces the future. The use of gold and red evokes the distinguished nature of higher learning, as well as the very humanity on which the institution was founded.

Motto Lobe University

A motto is a symbolic phrase, or the terms in which an institution chooses to express an ideal. It sets out the rules by which all must abide.

All for One
Lobe University took part of the motto from the novel The Three Musketeers and made it its own, based on the notion that solidarity is the basis for teamwork. The motto thus demands that everyone invest as much in their teammates’ and patients’ personal growth as they do in their own.
