Grandparents: A precious bond!

Nowadays, we live in a society where everyone is overloaded with responsibility and young parents struggle to find a balance between work and home life. Often, grandparents come to the rescue, picking up the little ones from daycare, stopping for groceries now and then, and lending a hand in countless other ways in their free time. Eventually, a unique bond forms between grandparents and their grandchildren, and they enjoy a truly precious intergenerational exchange!

It is a fact that today’s grandparents cannot be compared to those of generations past. Being more populous, younger, more energetic and active, healthier and more affluent, the grandparents of our time have developed different needs and interests than their predecessors, and having flexible schedules means they have the opportunity to foster special relationships with their grandchildren.

Take advantage of these rare moments with your grandchildren and you will encourage their personal growth and help them become informed adults.
