Everything you need to know about hearing aid batteries.

BatteriesThe batteries are to your hearing aids as a gas tank is to your car, an energy reserve. Today, batteries are made with “zinc-air”.

How do they work?

Simple. As soon as you take off the sticker, contact with oxygen is made and the battery activates and releases energy permitting your hearing aid to work. Even if you put the sticker back on, the chemical reaction has begun and will continue. Replacing the sticker will not conserve your batteries longer.

How many batteries should I buy?

It all depends on the type of device you wear and your lifestyle. One thing is sure, your battery must be of good quality because your hearing aid may not work to full capacity if your battery doesn’t provide enough energy.
